We recently invited SL Blogger and Explorer, Strawberry Singh, to stop by Cloudbreak to take a moment to enjoy our pink-kissed beaches and dense jungle! We’re pleased to share that Berry found a little early morning space in her schedule to put together a blog post about Cloudbreak, and then spent some time exploring the region on a live stream on her YouTube channel!

Photography Contest Results
First of all, thankyou so much to literally every person who contributed a photo. This was one of the hardest things we’ve had to do and have been completely blown away by both the response and all the images people have taken time to enter. We know how much work goes into photo creation and we try to make that a little easier by putting just as much effort into our environments, for you.
We love, admire and respect all of the creativity and talent that we are so lucky to have within such an amazing group of people. Never stop doing what you do. You make everyones lives richer.

What do you do when someone who has owned the same region for over a decade, asks for the dream environment they’ve been searching for, for all those years? Get intimidated? Laugh nervously? I think we did both of those things at first. I think all of us knew the next few months would be pretty intense, but perhaps not quite to the extent that it has been.
Orca Awareness Month 2018
This June we celebrate the 12th annual Orca Awareness Month! Whilst our adoptee is a Northen Resident Orca, and the population is beginning to flourish, Orca Month aims to raise awareness of the plight of the endangered Southern Resident orca population. The Southern Resident population now numbers only 39 Orcas, due in part to the diminishing Salmon population on which this critically endangered orca population depends. If you’d like to learn more about Orca Awareness Month, visit their website!
Orca Watch: springtime whale tales!
If you’ve been following us for a little while, you’ll know that this year [dirty.pretty] adopted an Orca named Holly using your group join fees. April is a quiet month for the team at Orclab and in their update they decided to share a little bit of history about each of the adoption Orcas that the team observe in Johnstone Strait.
Soul Surfing
On 24th April, we officially opened the Ash Falls extension and we are so happy that youโve been enjoying the new space!
Ash Falls has been home of dirty.pretty for a very long time; itโs been through various metamorphoses and taken lots of forms. In June ’17, Ash Falls was opened to the public and swiftly added to the photogenic location category in the Second Life Destination Guide. But whilst beautiful, we felt that Ash Falls hadnโt quite found its’ purpose in its’ newest form.
