Straight out of the back of seven weeks continuous building at Erebos Harbor, Leaf and I found ourselves back home at Ash Falls suddenly with hours of free time and feeling a little lost.

As the Summer draws to a close and Fall sets in round Johnston Strait the team at OrcaLab have busy monitoring the Northern Resident groups as they passed through the area. We’ve just had the latest update from them, with some beautiful video shot by one of their Summer staff.

Following the announcement of our Creative Partnership with ULTRA Events, we were really pleased to be asked to take on a project to theme the event building ready for the September ‘Wanderlust’ round! Working with some ideas from the ULTRA team we were inspired to turn their space into a time-worn warehouse, overgrown and greening, the plaster wearing away to the bricks, with a tree towering through it’s open roof space casting shadows on the grass below.
Strawberry Adventure
We recently invited SL Blogger and Explorer, Strawberry Singh, to stop by Cloudbreak to take a moment to enjoy our pink-kissed beaches and dense jungle! We’re pleased to share that Berry found a little early morning space in her schedule to put together a blog post about Cloudbreak, and then spent some time exploring the region on a live stream on her YouTube channel!
Red tape and blue skies
Whether you’re new to digital sports or not, you will have noticed a massive amount of red tape issued by pseudo-organisations, old wives tales, political opinions and agendas which seem to dominate everywhere you turn. The “must do’s” and “definitely don’ts” that seem to vary from person to person.
Photography Contest Results
First of all, thankyou so much to literally every person who contributed a photo. This was one of the hardest things we’ve had to do and have been completely blown away by both the response and all the images people have taken time to enter. We know how much work goes into photo creation and we try to make that a little easier by putting just as much effort into our environments, for you.
We love, admire and respect all of the creativity and talent that we are so lucky to have within such an amazing group of people. Never stop doing what you do. You make everyones lives richer.
